Showing Gratitude - Fulbright

The Fulbright Association has a lengthy history of gathering participants-chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential - with the opportunity to study, teach and conduct research, exchange ideas, and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns. As a Fulbright recipient, I can attest to the profound influence their generosity and support have had on my academic and personal development.

Earlier this month, I discovered that a quote of mine thanking the Fulbright Association had been published in Fulbright Iceland's annual report for FY2022. This honor serves as a reminder of the association's tremendous assistance while reinforcing the value of expressing gratitude to those who have had a significant favorable influence on our lives.

I am again extending my sincere gratitude to the Fulbright Association, and the individuals who have contributed to the development of my Fulbright experience. Your kindness has made it possible for me and many other scholars around the world to follow our dreams and contribute significantly to society.

Furthermore, I want to send my wholehearted congratulations and best wishes to the new students receiving the Fulbright grant this year. I hope they will seize this chance to broaden their horizons, interact with various viewpoints, and acquire knowledge and skills that will improve their lives and communities.
