I have always had a passion for solving puzzles and finding patterns, which is reflected in my educational and professional background. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Iceland and a Master's degree in Statistics and Data Science from Yale University.
Throughout my career, I have honed my programming skills and become well-versed in various scripting languages and cloud-based software solutions. My experience in software engineering at a Fortune 500 company and as a senior data specialist at the Icelandic Association of Local Authorities has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead conceptual work and push code into production.
My research experience at Yale has greatly shaped my approach to problem-solving, with exposure to research in AI and ML solutions, combined with software and database construction. These experiences have led me to my greatest passion - optimizing the use of data within a business to drive growth and success.
